Tony Samara meditates on the U.S. Presidential election, and being rich in a recession

EXCLUSIVE TO SOUL’S CODE: TONY SAMARA  —
A couple of days before St. Patrick’s Day, which in our contemporary spirit celebrates the luck of the Irish, U.S. Presidential candidate Mitt Romney was interviewed by Fox News television personality Megyn Kelly.
She asked the Mormon businessman about a string of statements that remind voters he is part of the One Percent of wealthiest Americans:
“(My wife) Ann drives a couple of Cadillacs.”
“I have some great friends that are NASCAR team owners.”
“I’m not concerned about the very poor.”
They sound-bites seem off-pitch in the fourth year of America’s biggest recession since the Great Depression, especially if you are running for president.
But Romney replied with a modicum of honesty, if not modesty: “I made a lot of money. I’ve been very successful. I’m not going to apologize for that . . . Because, in this country, we want someone who can help other people become successful.”
In a sense, Romney is right; But while he frames his advocacy of abundance in political terms, I prefer to speak of it spiritually.
Many of us feel that good karma and grace involves renouncing the joys, the abundance, the freedom of being alive in a complete sense. But by embracing an abundant, balanced life, good health and longevity, we can create a complete philosophy that encompasses body, mind and material emotions.

Abundance is essentially a form of transcendence

Abundance is primarily about sharing and trusting, going beyond our personal limitations and fears, embracing and dealing with who we are in a practical and real sense.
If we are connected to an energy field that encompasses anxiety and limited belief systems then we connect our anxieties and limitations to all that we do including negating our possibility for unlimited abundance.
If we are open to receiving that which naturally comes our way we learn to surrender and give ourselves to true love and compassion.
This is easily achieved when we feel of service to others and it creates a sense of wisdom and freedom that flows into abundance on all levels.
Such abundance also requires a life of dignity and generosity and the understanding that love is eternal and has no limitations.

When money flows like water

If we act in a truly generous way then this thinking becomes our personal law over a period of time and with every such empowering thought we give more energy to thoughts that are similar in nature and thus reach a higher level within ourselves and touch a perspective of understanding that is much more closely aligned to the natural abundance of life.
If your goal is love, then money will flow like water.
